As someone who hasn't owned or consistently handled an X-Box or 360, I must say that I've been loyal to Playstation over the years, and shame on you for putting down Dead Space, then LittleBigPlanet, and now Resistance 2.

For some reason I felt loyal to the Halo franchise when it came out, as if it were some kind of Sharks/Jets deal where you had to pick one.

For me, Gears of War is to Halo what The Dark Knight was to the Keaton/Nicholson Batman. That is a vastly superior example and execution of the genre that made me like the original less. Although Halo is still comparatively better than Burton's Batman, which hasn't aged that well.

Also, Marcus is voiced by Optimus Prime/Peter Cullen. You really can't criticize the voice.
