Look at star Wars series...ahhhh ... Indiana jones 4 was a joke.... are they even making films nowadays... None of them are even worth my 2 bucks to rent on DVD. i agree though on Jackie Chan as Miagi??? NOOOOO! that's not right at all.. Leave it Be AS IS... There was 4 karate kid movies ... Thanks to that movie, I spent years in karate classes (and, if you ask my wife, in therapy). I don't mind a remake, but that movie was largely about what "real" karate is versus Krese's combat classes. Changing the martial art but still calling it karate is like remaking "Pink Cadillac" but using a Lincoln Town Car. From everything I've heard, they had damn well better rename it Kung-Fu Kid.
