Wow, Cliff - great point! I can finally use my old G4 466 for something other than an iTunes server. Or maybe even my old Xbox! Wouldn't that be funny!

If they can get this to work it's good news for me. I've got a five year old PC and a Mac Mini, so I'm like the kid pressing his face up against the candy store window when it comes to new games. Even older games - if I could rent HL2 Episode 2 I would be ecstatic.

Sony, MS, Apple, gamers might love this. But, how thrilled do you think your ISP is going to be? What about the rest of the world where having uncapped monthly internet is the is the exception not the rule? In their conference they said you needed a 5 meg pipe to get the HD version of the game, if your ISP has you cap at 50 gigs a month (pretty normal for most countries) how fast are you going rip through that?

This company has an INSANE amount of challenges to overcome, Sony, MS and Nintendo aren't going to stop making consoles because unless something changes the rest of the world isn't hoping on this bandwagon unless ISPs change their pricing scheme. Never mind the fact how quickly your ISPs local data center is going to get rocked once 500 connections start streaming HD Crysis :D
