Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Wherein I talk to Seth Grahame-Smith about his crime against nature, and literature, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. "If people planted cauliflower in their garden, you might find a zombie on its hands and knees, gnawing on a head of cauliflower, having mistaken it for a brain ... "

Myself? I love me some zombies, and I'll totally darcy Jane Austen if I ever get my time machine working. I'm just waiting to see who gets the movie rights. I'm hoping its some Brits, but I fear it'll be Michael Bay.

  2. Also, it would have been cooler if Head Six and Head Baltar made an appearance.

  3. tru dat, Church. I mean, if he likes Jane Austen with Zombies, what do you think he'd make of the book of Mormon with robots -- robots sometimes indistinguishable from very hot chicks? And in Outer Space? Again, j'accuse Lev of loving "literahture" over a good old-fashioned Butlerian Jihad. J'accuse, Lev, j'accuse!

  4. It should be a Merchant-Ivory film. Are they still around, or did "Jefferson in Paris" kill them? Anyway, they should do it.

  5. Wow, maybe now Jane Austen will be readable. Now if only we could get Sense and Sensibilities and Vampires. Or Moby Dick and the Kraken. Or Last of the Mohicans in Space (wherein Hawkeye becomes an intergalactic bounty hunter and tracks down evildoers).
