@muldoon1987: So I put the "K" where the "T" should be and forgot the "T" altogether in the abbreviation for the Mystery Science Theater 3000 title due to typing my thread in a blur of conscious thought. One should also consider that I had been up since 3am and was not running at full capacity. So thank you for the correction and may I present my humble apologies oh great one.

I loved sunshine. While I agree it couldn’t quite meld the horror with the Sci-fi psychology but it was awesome. Moon, looks a little like Solarus. I like it. But this one looks as if it’s different and honestly just a redux of, "he’s a clone and his wife is an actor, or a human robot" conspiracy. I hope it isn’t that because that concept has been over used.

Great, just as I am about to go into Law school this fall, Bioshock 2 is going to come out and I heard Assassins Creed 2. Bioshock looks more on the suspenseful side and intense, yes more of the same look but switching the drill to hand gun and still have plasmids...nice. I am curious though how they explain a Big Daddy having a plasmid ability? Unless its someone else with a big daddy costume. I am also excited for Assassins creed, That’s depressing, because I am not going to be able to enjoy it when they first comes out.

Side note:

Lev, speaking of movies that have similar concepts, I am a big MSK3 fan, and after buying one of the lesser well put together volumes from Rhino, there was a film that the MSK3 crew torn to shreds, called "Clonus". One, with this movie the crew made several Wisconsin references which I love being from Madison, and knowing instantly what they are talking about. two. the movie in its concept, theme, story was an exact duplicate of Michael Bay's "The Island", minus Scarlett Johansson, which may be a plus, even though she’s good looking her acting chops need polishing. Instead of the island, America was the land of promise. It was bad. but it shows despite what modified scripts and effects Hollywood still copy and pastes from, literature(which is my argument written works, fiction and non-fiction will never be obsolete for visual story telling), comics, video games, and remakes of earlier movies or foreign movies(The departed, Vanilla Sky, Insomnia, etc...), but to rip off a B-Movie, now Hollywood is desperate.

p.s. I did like Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s film "Scoop". She diffidently improved and was charming and had a quirkiness that fits the style of Woody Allen.

Man, Moon took for freakin' ever, didn't it? I remember hearing Duncan starting production on this more than two years ago. (As I recall, his real name is "Zoey Bowie," which he then changed to the slightly-less-immediately-annoying "Joey Bowie," and then this, but I could be mistaken.)
