Kinda, but watching BSG is like having a date with Starbuck. It counts!

So, um, why don't they just slap a modem on the scary animal transformers and take them out through wi-fi?

I thought this was the movie that was being remade as G.I. Joe?

I saw the GI Joe, Star Trek, Transformers 2 and Terminator Redemption trailers in the screening room at their DI company. Seeing them so big and loud made me want to see all of them, even GI Joe. Once I was in the car I woke up and realized I'd just seen the Complt Wrks of GI Joe (Condensed Version) so scratched it off my list, but it was pretty exciting in the moment. Star Trek's trailer, on the other hand (the older one that opened with the car off the cliff), amazes me by not giving the plot away at all.

@Kemper: WTF? We can DO that?!
.
Damn, We can MAKE Lev watch BSG!

I'm not sure how I feel about super suits, GI Joe was never about super suits. It was about laser guns that never hit their target and Cobra running around like the Three Stooges. And possibly Shipwreck. Where's Shipwreck!?

@ Church - I know! I just pasted the link in and it embedded the video. I was shocked too. Unfortunately, you can lead a nerd blogger to an embedded video but you can't make him watch it, so I think that Lev would continue to shun BSG.

@Kemper, Church - what if we just label the videos as leaks of the Ender's Game movie?

@Church - I just put WAY too many seconds of brain power into thinking about which EG characters would fill what roles in BSG.
`
EG tangent - did anyone else enjoy Ender in Exile as much as I did? It's hardly EG itself or Speaker, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

@ Dave - Respectfully disagree. Couldn't stand Ender in Exile, and I'm buying an older copy of Ender's Game before OSC does any more of the threatened 'revisions'. He's turned Ender into such an all-knowing genuis/saint that there's no possibility of any outcome but Ender winning. And my pet peeve in all the Ender and Shadow books is that all the main characters spend huge amounts of time talking about how smart they are. It's like sci-fi done by Aaron Sorkin.
.
But that's just me...
.
BTW, how the frak did we go from the G.I Joe trailer to the Miracle of the Embedded Mega Force Video to BSG (again) and then Ender's Game? This is what happens when we don't get a new post to distract us for days... *LOL*

Kemper - apparently Lev is going back and frantically watching all the BSG episodes so we won't have that to use against him any longer. Thus the reason for no new posts.
.
Of course if he's not we could always tie him to a chair and prop open his eyes with toothpicks because we know how to embed now. We could also throw in some terrible PBS kids programming (i.e. Barney) as punishment for not watching BSG in the first place.

I think the number of posts go up significantly when Lev doesn't post for a few days... especially on Mondays. In fact, I think it brightens my rainy I-hate-Monday Mondays work day.

So as long as they dont screw up Snakeeyes then it might be watchable. Because I just know its going to be crap-hollywoodized, especially when I heard about the "super suits". where is the danger and risk of your life if your in a super suit?

I want to see district 9. The trailer fooled me, and I am fairly astute person to were I can see what's going on before the punch line/reveal. Political thrillers dealing with refugees/war etc… but aliens are the ones in need. It looks intriguing.
