The wife ain't around nearly that much in the book, on account of her being dead. And there are a few more Tusken Raiders than I remember. Otherwise it looks like a very faithful adaptation. In other words it's kill-yourself depressing. Save the last bullet for me, Viggo.

Awesome! A friend of mine did effects work on this one. I want to see it just based on his descriptions of the set dressing.
.
Sadly, he did not get the opportunity to work on BSG.

Why does Hollywood think that women won't see a movie without a female lead? Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm sure they're just like anyone else and want to watch a good movie regardless of what sex the characters are.

Geez, I loved the book, but remember that time when Adama got drunk and wept and wailed and drooled all over himself? That's exactly how I acted after I finished reading The Road. May be a great movie, but I'm not sure I have the willpower to see it and subject myself to that soul-crushing depression.

Oh hey, my buddy is in that trailer! He's the guy in the beige baclava.
