LeakyCon 2009 starts tomorrow in Boston. I'll be there. I'm doing a presentation on Friday morning about my book, and generally how Harry Potter has changed fantasy -- check the schedule, yo. Stop by if you're there? Although I am brutally scheduled opposite the Wizard Rock roundtable.

Hey Lev, Re: your book? You suck. Why do the books I want to get always publish in the UK so much sooner than in the US? Any chance bookdepository.uk will have it?

Someone around Boston should go down there and stand around holding a "Lev, watch BSG" placard.

Man, I haven't checked the Leaky Cauldron in ages. Is JKR any closer to publishing that Harry Potter encyclopedia? I'm waiting to find out what happens to a number of characters.

Byron - I still hold that we need to kidnap him and force him to watch BSG tied to a chair. Frakkin' Times bloggers (well at least one of them anyway).

I have a feeling that I'll see The Magicians when browsing on Amazon for the final DVD season of BSG, and the temptation to buy the book will be there. But just like Lev clicking through a rerun of '33' with no hesitation, I'll probably just move along without adding it to the cart.

(@ Lev - You brought this on yourself! Just watch the show and end this pointless war. *sob*)

Unfortunately, anybody I might be able to persuade to picket Lev's presentation is not about to abandon the Wrock panel for the task.

Looking forward to reading your book, Lev. Though, I think when I read it, I'll be expecting a punch line, and a few user-comments about BSG at the end.
