Audience who wishes they were at G.I. Joe
I had just about every G.I. Joe toy, taped every episode of the cartoon, read the "Real American Hero" and "Special Missions" comics, and dressed as Storm Shadow at least one Halloween.
But I'd still rather go see Julia and Julie than Rise of Cobra this weekend. And Juli(a/e) looks terrible.

I think I'm going to go see Harry Potter again this weekend, then wait outside all the screens showing G.I. Joe, so I can laugh at all the grown men coming out saying, "What did they do to my childhood heroes???"
I noticed in the previews a big showy scene with the Eiffel Tower being destroyed. Does anyone want to set to the odds on whether we'll see the Eiffel Tower again in a sequel?
*Note* Don't let my cynical side confuse you. I desperately want this movie to not suck. I loved G.I. Joe growing up. I suppose if the first Transformers didn't suck, I can have hope for G.I. Joe. But I don't.

@Kemper: T.R.A.N.S.F.O.M.E.R.S.? I suggest, making it Oblivious Retard Michael Bay, to complete the acronym.
To paraphrase my dad on G.I. Joe, "It looks like seven kinds of stupid." You can tell a movie is bad when they withold it from critics. It's looking like the storyline of the LEGO agents theme crashed into the army and some ninjas, rolled over Iron Man, and smashed through the wall of a CGI studio. And I mean that in a bad way.

Sorry about my stray comma, it makes the first line read really weird. Ignore it.

Crap cookies. Oh, well. My spelling can always be improved. Bay is going to be a d-bag forever.

Am I the only person that loved this movie? One of my favorites of the year so far... (Star Trek and Hangover being the other 2)
