Yay! Love the interview. I'm a huge fan of Felicia Day (and have been since the Buffy days) and am so impressed with her work on the Guild and Dr. Horrible. I also really liked her guest appearance on House last season. She's a very multi-talented lady and I wish her nothing but the best!!!

As a really old geek, what I appreciate is that Felicia is intelligent and articulate. Looks fade, but intelligence does not. She reminds me very much of Lucille Ball, in her ability to create a funny character and play it to the hilt.

If you are reading this, Felicia, tighten up on your diction. Old ears have trouble following your lines. Get a voice coach.

Oh, Felicia. My geek-girl crush. Aside from all the reasons I enjoy her in anything she's in - her sense of humor, her sheer adorableness, etc - I also like her for another reason. This may sound dorky but she's a good role model. She wasn't getting what she wanted out of her job, so she went about creating a space for herself and carved out her own niche. She's built her fame on her own merits and by rules that she forged as she went. Most people don't have the brass to do something like that, so I admire her for it. It irks me that mainstream Hollywood is still utterly ignorant of her. I'd love to see her in more stuff, whether it's mainstream work or genre stuff. I guess all we can do is continue to support her New Media work and hope that the old and busted mainstreamers get a clue at some point.
