Samsung Omnia II Available from Verizon

If you're in the market for a new Windows Mobile 6.5 device- because who isn't?- then check out the Samsung Omnia II from Verizon. It's $200 but that gets you a 3.7-inch resistive AMOLED touch-screen, Swype technology, a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory. Sadly, it's only expandable to 16GB via microSD. The Omnia II will be available starting December 2.

  1. I own the first Omnia, it's no iphone, however, for my purposes the device works well and I'm able to carry all of my documents along for the ride. I hope the accelerometer is improved as it takes a while for the orientation in the original to change. Not a bad smart phone for the price and the service from Verizon is reliable across the country.
