ABC family just ran a whole bunch of the peanuts little movies last night (Nov. 28). I've always loved charlie Brown and Co., and not just because I hail from the SF Bay Area (Charles Shultz spent most of his adult life up in the North Bay, and there are serious, for real shrines of his creations in almost every town in the area. Also, the major airport north of Frisco, Santa Rosa, is names after him.) I've always seen his strips and movies as allegories for real life, little vignettes that pretty much sum up the human condition in a humorous way, but without being preachy. RIP, man. word.
