The 10 Best Camera Apps for the iPhone

istockphoto.com

The iPhone's meager 2- or 3-megapixel camera is only as good as the software powering it behind the scenes. And that's no more evident than the list we've compiled today. It certainly isn't the definitive iPhone camera app list, but we're pretty sure it's close.

Here's our list of favorite iPhone camera apps in no particular order. Have any you really like that we didn't include? Let us know in comments.

  5. Seriously, why does everyone just slurp the iPhone? All I ever see are articles about it and apps for it. What about android phones like the myTouch? Are these just second rate citizens that don't deserve even a little attention? It's annoying the way the world fucking revolves around Apple products to the detriment of everyone else.

  7. I have been using an iphone app called TravelCamera. It's simple but very helpful. If you do travel a lot then it's a must have.

  8. iWatermark is a great photography iPhone app. It allows you to edit and put visible watermarks on your photos to protect them from use by others.

  9. Hey,
Nice article.. thanks! I am into photography, so I try out camera apps a lot.

Two apps have caught my attention recently,
    1. called CamKewl.
this is one of the best camera apps i've seen so far..very cool animations and well made!
i love the shaking part to switch between screens
and the accenting is very cool too. very good for artists like me! so worth the .99$ i paid for it.

Check it out, the video demo:

    2. called Layar
If you are a traveller, then this is for you. It puts out information of whatever it sees.. so many layers of info. Definitely recommended! check it out!
